Platform Terms and Return Policy
The terms of sale, and the Return Policy they refer to
Version 1.1 · 15 October 2026
Published at allchrono.com
Published in English and Arabic. The Arabic version prevails.
Platform Terms
AllChrono Company (شركة آلكرونو), commercial registration 7052667909, tax registration 314427619800003, registered at Ahmad Al Muradi Street, King Salman District, Riyadh 12434, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia ("AllChrono", "we", "us").
These terms apply when you use allchrono.com or buy a watch through it. Please read clauses 2, 5 and 9 in particular.
1 · What AllChrono is
1.1 AllChrono is a marketplace. We do not own the watches listed on it, we do not sell them, and we never take title to them.
1.2 Each watch is sold by a professional dealer. We arrange the authentication and the shipping, and we collect the payment on the seller's behalf. On a watch priced below USD 2,500 the authentication and the cover are your choice, under clause 1.4.
1.3 Two service levels. A watch priced at USD 2,500 or more is a Managed watch. Everything in these terms applies to it without variation: it is always authenticated, it always travels with cover we pay for, and delivery to you is free.
1.4 A watch priced below USD 2,500 is an Entry watch. The lowest price at which any watch may be listed is USD 500. On an Entry watch three things are your choice and your cost, shown to you at checkout before you pay:
(a) authentication, which you may buy at the same price we pay the authentication centre, with nothing added;
(b) cover in transit, which you may buy at the carrier's declared value rate, with nothing added;
(c) delivery, which you pay at the carrier's rate for the route.
1.5 Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, Omega and Cartier are Managed watches only and are never listed below USD 2,500.
1.6 Where you buy authentication on an Entry watch, that watch is treated as a Managed watch for every purpose in these terms and in the Return Policy. Where you do not, clauses 3.11, 6.4 and clause 2.3 of the Return Policy apply.
2 · Who you are buying from
2.1 The seller is the dealer named on the listing. He is the supplier of the watch. He sets the price and he owns the watch until it is delivered to you.
2.2 AllChrono acts as that seller's agent. We collect your payment on his behalf. Your money is held for him from the moment you pay.
2.3 The seller's name appears on the listing page, on the checkout screen, on your payment receipt and on the sale document you receive. It is the seller's registered legal name, which may differ from his store name.
2.4 Your contract for the watch is with the seller. Your contract with AllChrono is for the marketplace service, the shipping, and the authentication where it applies or where you buy it.
3 · Authentication
3.1 Every Managed watch is authenticated by an independent centre before it reaches you. There are no exceptions on that tier, no setting and no election.
3.1a On an Entry watch you choose at checkout whether the watch is authenticated, under clause 1.4. Where you choose it, this clause 3 applies to your watch in full. Where you do not, clause 3.11 applies instead.
3.2 Authentication confirms that the watch is genuine and records its condition at that point in time.
3.3 It is not a warranty that the watch will keep running. AllChrono gives no functional warranty. A fault that appears after delivery is not a ground for return, and we do not repair, service or restore watches.
3.4 Before your watch is sent, the centre photographs it in detail, including the clasp, the lugs, the bracelet links and the crystal. That record is what a return is checked against, so please handle the watch carefully while you decide. See the Return Policy.
The authenticity guarantee
3.5 If an authenticated watch you bought through AllChrono turns out not to be genuine, or to differ materially from what the authentication centre recorded, we will put it right. This is separate from the return window in clause 9 and it is not limited to seven days. It applies to every Managed watch, and to an Entry watch you chose to have authenticated.
3.6 The guarantee runs for twelve months from confirmed delivery.
3.7 Two things are covered. The watch is not genuine. Or the watch differs materially from the authentication record in a way that would reasonably have changed your decision to buy, for example a replaced movement, an undisclosed aftermarket component, or a different reference from the one recorded.
3.8 Where a claim is upheld, you choose the remedy. You may:
(a) return the watch and receive a full refund of the price you paid;
(b) keep the watch and receive a price adjustment equal to the assessed difference between what you bought and what you received; or
(c) where the issue can be put right, have it corrected at our cost and the watch returned to you.
The choice is yours, not ours. A price adjustment under (b) is never more than the price you paid.
3.9 How a claim is assessed. The watch is examined against the authentication record made before it was dispatched. You may ask for a second, independent examination, and we pay for it. We give you the outcome and the reasons in writing. If the claim is not upheld the watch is returned to you at our cost.
3.10 Functionality is not covered by this guarantee. A watch that stops running, loses time or needs a service is not a claim under clause 3.5. Authentication records authenticity and condition at a point in time and is not a mechanical warranty. Clause 3.3 continues to apply.
3.11 An Entry watch you chose not to have authenticated carries no authenticity guarantee. The guarantee at clause 3.5 and the right to return a watch as not as described are both measured against the authentication record. Where there is no record, there is nothing to measure against, so neither is available to you. This is shown on the listing, again at checkout beside the box you leave unticked, and again on your receipt. An Entry watch that was not authenticated never carries the authentication badge, and the listing says Not authenticated in those words.
3.12 Duty and import tax are dealt with at clause 5 and are not affected by a claim under this guarantee.
3.13 The authentication record belongs to AllChrono. The photographs, video and condition records made by the centre are ours. We use them for the listing, for the evidence pack, for a return or a claim, and we may use them in marketing. Where you send us a recording or photographs of your own to support a claim, we use them to deal with that claim, and we do not use them in marketing unless you tell us we may.
4 · Price, and what you pay us
4.1 The price shown is the price of the watch. You pay nothing to AllChrono on top of it.
4.2 We charge our fee to the seller, not to you.
4.3 Payment is taken in full at checkout.
4.4 Your order is created once your payment has settled. With a card that is immediate. If you pay by bank transfer or in a digital asset, settlement is when the funds reach us, and we allow up to three business days for that. A watch is not reserved for you before then, so it can still be bought by someone else in the meantime.
5 · Duty and import tax
5.1 Most watches are shipped to you from outside the Kingdom. You are the importer of record.
5.2 Customs duty and import value added tax are payable by you, to the carrier, on delivery. They are not included in the price and we do not collect them.
5.3 The figure shown at checkout is an estimate provided to help you plan. The amount the carrier asks for may differ.
5.4 AllChrono does not pay, reimburse, refund or provide evidence of duty or import tax, in any circumstances, including where a watch is returned. That is a matter between you, the carrier and the authorities.
5.5 If you refuse a parcel because of the amount asked at the door, the watch returns to the seller and clause 9 does not apply to it.
6 · Delivery
6.1 On a Managed watch we arrange insured shipping on every leg, we pay for that cover, and delivery to you is free.
6.2 Delivery is confirmed by the carrier. A one time password, where used, is evidence that you received the parcel and nothing more.
6.3 The date shown at checkout is an estimate. Customs timing is outside our control.
6.4 On an Entry watch you pay the carriage at the carrier's rate for the route, and you choose at checkout whether to buy cover at the carrier's declared value rate. Where you do not buy cover, only the carrier's own limited liability applies, that amount is small, it is stated at checkout, and AllChrono does not make up the difference if the watch is lost or damaged in transit. We still book the carriage, produce the label and handle any claim.
7 · The sale document you receive
7.1 You receive a sale document from the seller, produced by us on his behalf. You can download it from your order at any time.
7.2 Where the seller is based outside the Gulf, that document is a commercial sales receipt. It is not a Saudi tax invoice and carries no tax line, because the tax on the watch arrives at the border under clause 5.
7.3 Where the seller is based in the Kingdom or another Gulf state, you receive a tax invoice issued under his own tax registration, showing value added tax at the applicable rate.
7.4 Which document you receive depends on where the seller is, not on anything you do.
8 · Your money, and how long we hold it
8.1 We collect your payment as the seller's agent and hold it until your return window closes, or until you confirm you are keeping the watch, whichever comes first.
8.2 Those funds are held in a designated account, separate from our own operating money. We do not use them for our own purposes.
8.3 We will not hold your payment for more than twenty one days from the date you paid without telling you why.
8.4 Refunds are made to the method you paid with.
9 · Returns
9.1 You may return a watch within seven days of confirmed delivery, on the grounds set out in the Return Policy.
9.2 The Return Policy forms part of these terms.
10 · If something goes wrong
10.1 Contact us first, at [email protected]. Most things are resolved without a formal step.
10.2 Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under Saudi consumer protection law or the e commerce regulations.
11 · Your information
11.1 We process your personal data under our Privacy Policy.
11.2 At checkout we ask you to confirm your country of residence and may ask for an identity document. We need this to apply the correct tax treatment to the sale, and we keep it for the period the tax rules require.
11.3 We share your name and delivery address with the seller, the authentication centre and the carrier, because they need them to get the watch to you. We do not share your payment details with the seller.
12 · Your acceptance, and the record we keep
12.1 You accept these terms when you create your AllChrono account, by ticking the acceptance box in the registration flow. The box is not pre-ticked, you cannot complete registration without ticking it, and publication on this website is not acceptance on its own.
12.1a Each order confirms it again, without a second box. Before you place an order, the order screen states that the order is subject to these terms and to the Return Policy, shows the version number and date in force, and links to both in the language you are reading. Placing the order confirms your acceptance of that version. You are never asked to accept anything for the first time at the moment you pay.
12.1b If we have changed these terms since you registered, we tell you and ask you to accept the new version the next time you sign in, before you can place an order under it. Clause 13 governs which version applies.
12.2 We record it. For each acceptance we record the date and time to the second with the time zone, taken from our systems and not from your device; the version number and publication date of the text you accepted; a cryptographic hash of that exact text; the network address and device you used; and the identifier by which your account was authenticated.
12.3 We keep that record for not less than ten years and you can ask us for a copy at any time.
12.4 That record is how we can show, years later, that the seller was named to you and that you had these terms and the Return Policy before you paid.
12.5 Your order record points at the version it was placed under. We keep that link for the same period, so your order, the text that governed it and your acceptance of that text can always be read together.
13 · Changes
13.1 We may change these terms. The version that applies to your order is the version shown to you on the order screen when you placed it, not the current one. We keep every version.
13.2 Where a change materially affects your rights, we tell you before it takes effect and we ask you to accept the new version at your next sign in. You may close your account instead.
14 · Law
14.1 These terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
14.2 The competent courts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms. Nothing in this clause prevents you from raising a complaint with the Ministry of Commerce or with any consumer protection body that has jurisdiction over it, and nothing in it requires you to pursue a dispute outside the Kingdom.
14.3 These terms are published in English and Arabic. The Arabic version prevails. Where you accepted the Arabic version, the record at clause 12.2 holds the hash of that Arabic text.
Return Policy
This is part of the Platform Terms. It is written to be read.
The short version
You have seven days from delivery to return a watch.
If something is wrong with the watch, the return is free. Every time. Not as described, not genuine, damaged in transit, never arrived. There is no limit and no counter.
If you simply changed your mind, it depends on the watch. On a Managed watch, your first change of mind return in any twelve months costs you nothing. After that, within the same twelve months, you pay the return carriage. On an Entry watch you pay the return carriage. The amount is shown to you before you start the return, and we book the carrier either way.
Keep the original box, because cover on the return depends on it. Duty and import tax are not refundable by us. A returned watch is checked against the photographs taken before it was sent, at the authentication centre nearest you, and your refund follows that check.
1 · Your window
1.1 Seven days, starting when the carrier confirms delivery.
1.2 It is one window and it does two jobs: it is your time to inspect the watch, and it is your time to change your mind.
1.3 Start a return from your order page. The watch must be handed to the carrier within three days of you starting it.
2 · Why you can return
Reason · What we check
You changed your mind · The serial, the condition and the accessories against the record from authentication
The watch is not as described · The authentication record, not the seller's listing. See 2.2
The watch arrived damaged · Whether the damage happened in transit, using the photographs taken before dispatch and your unboxing recording
The watch never arrived · The carrier's record
Separately from all of this, if a watch turns out not to be genuine, or to differ materially from the authentication record, the authenticity guarantee at clause 3.5 of the Platform Terms applies. It runs for twelve months and you choose the remedy. It is not limited to the seven day window below.
2.2 Not as described is measured against the authentication record. Before the watch was sent to you, an independent centre examined it and confirmed its grade, and the listing was corrected to match that examination. So the question is whether the watch you received matches what the centre recorded, not whether it matches what the seller wrote.
2.3 An Entry watch that was not authenticated may be returned only because you changed your mind, and you pay the return carriage. Not as described and not genuine are not available on it, for the reason in clause 3.11 of the Platform Terms. The seven day window is otherwise the same. Where you bought authentication, every reason in the table above is available to you exactly as on a Managed watch.
2.4 A change of mind is free once a year on a Managed watch. Your first change of mind return in any rolling twelve months on a Managed watch costs you nothing. Change your mind again inside the same twelve months and you pay the return carriage, at the carrier's rate for the route, shown to you before you commit to the return. Every other reason in the table above is free every time, is not counted, and does not use up your allowance. On an Entry watch you pay the return carriage on a change of mind whether or not you have returned anything before.
3 · How we know the watch came back as it left
3.1 Before your watch is sent, the authentication centre photographs it in detail: the face, the case back, the serial, the clasp, the lugs, the bracelet links, the crystal and the accessories. Every image is timestamped.
3.2 That record is the benchmark. When a watch comes back, it is compared against those photographs, not against the seller's description.
3.3 You can inspect the watch fully, try it on and handle it. Nothing about examining a watch prevents you returning it.
3.4 What does affect a return is wear. A few days on the wrist shows on a clasp and on bracelet links, and it will show in the comparison. Where the watch comes back with its value reduced, clause 6 applies.
4 · The box
4.1 Keep the original box and send the watch back in it. Cover on the return leg depends on it.
4.2 We ask you to film the unboxing. It is not a condition of returning. It matters only if you later claim the watch arrived damaged or tampered with.
5 · What it costs you
5.1 What you pay depends on why you are returning and which watch you bought.
Why you are returning · Who pays the return carriage
Not as described, not genuine, damaged in transit, never arrived · We do. Every time, with no limit.
Changed your mind, Managed watch, first return in twelve months · We do.
Changed your mind, Managed watch, later return in the same twelve months · You do, at the carrier's rate, shown before you commit
Changed your mind, Entry watch · You do, at the carrier's rate, shown before you commit
5.1a We book every return leg ourselves, whether or not you are paying for it. You are never asked to find a carrier, negotiate a rate or arrange cover. Where you are paying, you pay what the carrier charges us for that route and nothing is added to it.
5.2 On a change of mind, we bear the cost of the inspection. The seller bears the cost of the leg from the inspection centre back to him.
5.3 Duty and import tax are not refunded by us, for any reason. We never received that money. It went to the carrier and the authorities. See clause 5 of the Platform Terms.
5.4 There is no restocking fee and no penalty of any kind.
6 · The inspection
6.1 Every returned watch goes to the authentication centre nearest you. It is checked against the record made before it was sent to you, in this order: serial, condition, accessories.
6.1a Where that is. A buyer in the Kingdom or elsewhere in the Gulf returns to Jeddah. A buyer in the United States returns to our authentication partner in New York. The centre is named on your return label before you hand the parcel over. The standard applied is the same at both and the record compared against is the same record.
6.2 The outcome is one of two things.
It matches. Your refund is paid.
It does not match. The return is rejected and the watch is sent back to you at your cost. We tell you which of the four checks failed and why.
6.3 Where the watch matches but its value has been reduced, the centre assesses that reduction against the photographs taken before dispatch, and your refund is reduced by the assessed amount, itemised so you can see what it is for. This is not a fee and not a percentage. It is the measured difference.
6.4 You never ship a watch across a border to return it unless that is where it came from. Routing a return to the nearest centre is what keeps the return leg short, and it is why a return costs what it costs.
7 · Your refund
7.1 Paid to the method you paid with, within three business days of the inspection being completed and the return accepted.
7.2 It covers the price of the watch. It does not cover duty or import tax.
7.3 Your refund is never held back waiting on customs. If a return is delayed at a border, that is our problem to resolve, not a reason to delay paying you once the inspection is done.
8 · What you cannot return
8.1 A watch that has developed a fault after delivery. Authentication records the watch at a point in time and is not a functional warranty. We do not repair, service or restore.
8.2 A watch you refused at the door over the amount the carrier asked for. That parcel goes back to the seller and this policy does not apply to it.
8.3 A watch returned outside the seven day window, unless we agree otherwise.
8.4 None of this affects the authenticity guarantee at clause 3.5 of the Platform Terms, which runs for twelve months and is not a return right. If you believe a watch is not genuine, or differs materially from what the authentication centre recorded, raise it under that clause whenever you find out.
9 · Your legal rights
9.1 Nothing here reduces the rights the Saudi e commerce regulations give you, including your right to return within seven days of receipt without giving a reason.
9.2 Where we ask you to pay the return carriage, that is the cost of transport and nothing more. It is not a fee, not a percentage, not a restocking charge and not a penalty for exercising your right. You pay what the carrier charges us for that route. If the carrier charges us less than we quoted you, you are charged the lower amount.
